This begins with identifying all the services and support that contribute towards the student experience, assessing if they were fit for purpose, and developing plans to improve these services, and/or the way they were discovered and accessed.

A business case is often required in order to prioritise the services and recommend the improvement options (replace, improve, automate, sign-post, etc.).

The strategy development begins with identifying all the engagement touchpoints (e.g. logon to a system or participation in an event), the creation of models that reflected what good engagement looked like, and similarly developing the intervention plans required to raise the levels of engagement or provide appropriate support.
