Professor Galvin is Associate Professor in Physiotherapy in the School of Allied Health and a founding member of the Ageing Research Centre at the University of Limerick. Professor Galvin has a long standing interest in ageing research. She received a Health Research board 2020 Research Leader Award exploring models of integrated care for older adults following discharge from the Emergency Department.
