    Didier Coeurnelle is founding member of the International Longevity Alliance (ILA) and co-chair of Heales (Healthy Life Extension Society). Both associations advocate for the responsible use of technological advances to improve human life and foster social progress. They organize international conferences, including Eurosymposium on Healthy Ageing (EHA. Heales also publishes a monthly information newsletter, available in five languages, titled ‘The Death of Death.’

    Didier Coeurnelle is the author of two books: Et si on arrêtait de vieillir!: Réalité, enjeux et perspectives d’une vie en bonne santé beaucoup plus longue (2013), and Technoprog. Le transhumanisme au service du progrès social (2016), co-authored with Marc Roux. He advocates for a form of technoprogressism that supports life extension, equality, and democratic debate.

    A Belgian citizen born in 1962, Didier Coeurnelle lives in Brussels, in one of the city’s most multicultural districts. He studied law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and works in a federal institution competent in the field of social security. He has been an engaged trade union member for over 20 years and is also active in ecological and social movements. As a world citizen, he supports the development of international democracy and the ethical use of technologies for human and planetary benefit. He speaks French, Dutch, and English.
