Professor Köhrle is the Editor-in-chief of ESE’s new journal Environmental Endocrinology. He has been Senior Professor, Molecular Endocrinology at the Institute of Experimental Endocrinology; Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany since 2017. Before that he served as Director of this institute from 2002-2017. He holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and endocrinology from University of Hanover, Germany; and in 1991 was awarded Habilitation for Experimental Endocrinology, Medizinische Hochschule in Hanover.
