Peatland expert with more than 15 years of experience in ecological restoration, wetland management, nature based solutions, experience in work in international projects in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Finland and experience in leading 4 international projects funded by EU LIFE Program, experience in developing of Management plans for the especially projected nature areas in Latvia, member of the Mire Conservation group, has a Doctor degree in Biology.
