Dr Mathew Tata manages Cancer Research UK’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in Research programme, driving initiatives that ensure CRUK-funded research is inclusive and representative. His work spans policy development, stakeholder engagement, and programme delivery aimed at removing barriers for underrepresented groups in science.
Mathew brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his role, with experience in both research and public engagement. He collaborates with researchers, institutions, and community partners to embed inclusive practices across CRUK’s funding portfolio and research strategy.
He is passionate about creating equitable opportunities in science and is a key contributor to CRUK’s broader EDI strategy.
