Charlotte develops the Climate and Energy Benchmark from a research perspective, working closely with WBA’s partner CDP
She is passionate about bringing meaningful, comparable, and decision-useful information into the public domain to drive change in the private sector to achieve sustainable development.
Before joining WBA, Charlotte was a corporate lawyer primarily advising clients in the energy sector. She then studied for an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London, exploring systems thinking and the interlinkages of natural and social science-based solutions to sustainability challenges. This included a role as a Visiting Researcher at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Most recently, Charlotte worked for GRI on further developing its sustainability reporting standards, including mapping the GRI Standards against the TCFD recommendations and other reporting frameworks’ climate-related content.
