Dr Kristian Steele is an Associate Director at Arup, working within the Advanced Technology and Research group
His professional training was as a civil engineer, but through a doctorate, a career at BRE, and subsequently Arup, he now specialises in systems analysis to understand the environmental challenges of product and material supply chains, of buildings and infrastructure, organisations and their operation, and at the regional or sector scale. His work is used to inform policy and strategy, guide design projects, advise governments, sectors and organisations, as well as support product development programmes.
