Dr Richa Kumar

Dr Richa Kumar’s background lies in the field of Law, Development, Migration and Security Studies. She holds a PhD in International Relations and Politics from the University of Kent, where her focus was on border technologies and migration.  She also earned an MSc in Sociology (specialising in migration and ethnic studies) from the University of Amsterdam, an MA in Development Studies from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, and a BA from the University of Law, Hyderabad, India. She is co-coordinating the EU-funded ATHENA project and studies the impact of disinformation on democracy.  Before joining Trilateral Research, she worked as an immigration lawyer.
