Egil Kjerstad is a Social Scientist with a doctoral degree in Economics from University of Bergen. Kjerstad is Research Director of the Health Services and Health Economics group at NORCE and Professor of Health Economics. One of his main research field is the interplay between health, education and labour market participation using quantitative research methods based on register data. He has also participated in studies combining qualitative and quantitative research methods, including cost-effectiveness/-benefit analysis.
