Freddie Ugo is the co-founder and Head of Brand for Beyond Belief Brewing Co. (BBB), where he leads on brand development and environmental standards, bringing a scientific background and years of experience in FMCG decarbonisation to the forefront of sustainable brewing. With a deep commitment to circular economy principles, Freddie champions innovative approaches that reduce waste and transform by-products—such as surplus fresh pasta—into high-quality craft beer.
His work is grounded in a belief that food and drink should be both environmentally responsible and culturally resonant. By honouring beer’s rich history while challenging industry norms, Freddie aims to inspire a new generation of brewers and consumers to think differently about sustainability.
Outside of BBB, Freddie is pursuing an MSc in Conservation Science, applying insights from his academic research to support the charitable and environmental initiatives embedded within the brewery’s mission. His work bridges science, storytelling, and social impact, contributing to a broader movement for positive change in how we produce and consume.
