She has over 40 years’ experience as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner in gerontological nursing. Research interests include continence in older persons, hospital care for older persons and ageism.

Her passion is encouraging nurses and nurse practitioners to join in efforts to improve care of older persons across health systems and sectors.
