Liz established Mesothelioma UK in 2004 and is responsible for developing the charity’s vision and strategic direction, and for the financial security and operational activities. Liz also works at Glenfield Hospital as a consultant nurse and focuses on the treatment and care of mesothelioma patients. In 2019, Liz was awarded at MBE for services to cancer research and patients.
