I am an Agricultural Engineer, and the first years of my professional career were linked to the geographic information systems and their use in environmental management, mainly in hydrological planning. I have been working as a technician at the Environmentel Studies Centre of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council since 2011, and since 2014, I have been involved in the development of the local Sustainable Agri-Food Strategy and have had the opportunity to discover the main challenges of the local agri-food ecosystem in relation to sustainability and climate change. I am the co-coordinator of CROPS4LIFE, a project that aims to bring the production and consumption of fresh food as a pilot experience for a sustainable and relocalised food system.
