Marian Adriaansen (1955) was qualified as a community nurse and has been the head of the School of health studies at HAN University of Applied Sciences for ten years
After her Ph.D. with the subject ‘Nursing Education in Palliative Care, content, effects, and Implementation’ she became a Professor of Innovation in Care. Her focus during that period was on the implementation of technology in elderly care and the use of data in nursing.
She is the author of a number of books directed at home care, the chronically ill, communication, elderly abuse, and health promotion. She is a member of several supervisory boards of home care institutions.
