Lilia Convit is an Exercise Scientist (Hons) and Sports Dietitian with expertise in thermoregulation, hydration, and women’s performance physiology. Her research has examined hydration and cooling strategies to improve thermoregulation and exercise performance in female endurance athletes, with a focus on menstrual cycle-related hormonal influences on fluid balance and heat tolerance.

Grounded in applied sport and environmental physiology, Lilia’s work combines controlled laboratory trials with real-world field studies to develop practical hydration and cooling strategies for athletes and heat-exposed workers. She integrates physiological, behavioural, and performance data to advance evidence-based interventions that reduce heat strain and optimise performance in challenging environments.

Lilia is an ISAK Level 3 Anthropometrist and instructor with extensive expertise in DXA body composition assessment. She also teaches across exercise and nutrition sciences, bringing a strong focus on applied learning and the translation of research into real-world practice to support women in sport and health.
