Peter Bachmann

Peter Bachmann is based in Washington, D.C. He took up the role of Vice President, Policy & Government Affairs for USA Rice in May 2022 having served as the Vice President of International Trade Policy since 2019, responsible for addressing barriers to trade and expanding rice exports for the U.S. rice industry. Previously, Bachmann worked at the U.S. Department of Agriculture as the Senior Advisor to the Secretary, responsible for trade and farm policy and before that, worked on domestic farm program policy at USA Rice.
