Prof. Nicholas Harvey

Prof. Nicholas Harvey is Director of the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre and Professor of Rheumatology and Clinical Epidemiology, at the University of Southampton, UK. He is the IOF President and ESCEO Board member. He is also a member of the UK National Osteoporosis Guideline Group Advisory Committee, Chair of the UK Biobank Frailty & Ageing Working Group and DXA lead for the UK Biobank Imaging Working Group. Author of over 500 research papers, his main field of research are epidemiology of osteoporosis and FRAX® development. He serves as Associate Editor of Osteoporosis International and is on several editorial boards. His international awards include the IOF CSA Medal of Achievement and Olof Johnell Award. He was recently appointed as an NIHR Senior Investigator.
