Dr. Regina Gumenyuk received M.Sc. degree from the Lappeenranta University of Technology in 2008, and the Dr.Sc. (Tech.) degree from TUT (Tampere, Finland) in 2014. Currently, she is a research group leader at Tampere University and a coordinator of the AMPLITUDE project (Horizon 2020). The area of expertise ranges from new fiber-based gain materials to the design and characterisation of ultrafast fiber high-power laser systems.
