Yew-Kwang Ng

    Yew-Kwang Ng, born in Malaysia and an Australian citizen, is an emeritus professor in the Department of Economics, Monash University, Australia and doing some online teaching for Peking University

    He is a jubilee fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and a member of Advisory Board, Global Priorities Institute, Oxford University. In 2007, he received the highest award (Distinguished Fellow) of the Economic Society of Australia. He was invited to deliver the inaugural Atkinson Memorial Lecture at Oxford University in 2018.

    He has published more than 30 books and 300 refereed journal papers in economics, biology, mathematics, philosophy, psychology, etc., including in American Economic Review (7 single-authored papers).

    He also published a single-authored paper in another top-5 journal in economics, the Journal of Political Economy as an undergraduate student in 1965.
