Alex is a Founder and Managing Partner at Tessiant Ltd, a digital transformation management consultancy in the UK
Following a successful career in established management consultancies for 20 years, Alex co-founded Tessiant in 2020 to address a gap in the market for a nimble, values led consultancy which could offer a breadth of capability while retaining a competitive price point. Tessiant specialises in digitally focussed strategy, programme delivery, change and HR, and was co-founded with Alex by Matt Neale (experienced headhunter) and Anna Barsby (FTSE 100 CIO).
Pre-Tessiant, Alex was a director in The Berkeley Partnership, leading teams shaping, procuring and delivering major transformation programmes in retail, public sector and logistics organisations.
Prior to Berkeley, Alex was a consultant at PA Consulting and Ernst and Young, and worked on major public sector initiatives such as national giro book removal, implementation of global Biometric Visas, and the ID cards programme. His public sector experience includes DWP, FCO, Home Office, the Passport Service, the Pensions Regulator, NHS and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Outside of work, Alex spends much of his time keeping his three young sons fed, entertained and happy (very rarely all at once…)
