Jeanette Mostert PhD is science communication advisor and university lecturer at the Genetics department of the Radboud University Medical Center and Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour in Nijmegen, The Netherlands
She is also dissemination manager of two Horizon2020-funded consortia, Eat2beNICE (www.newbrainnutrion.com) and PRIME (www.prime-study.eu). In her work she focusses on bringing researchers and patients (or other stakeholder groups) closer together. This includes translating research findings to stakeholder groups, and seeking ways for active engagment, such as citizen science.
Also in her teaching at (bio)medical sciences she strives to bring the societal or patient perspective to the classroom.
