  1. Dear Professor, Emiko Izumi,

This is with reference to your wonderful research on Furthering elementary English education in Japan.

With reference to specifically developing and implementing a bottom-up approach, such as alphabet knowledge, phonemic awareness, and phonics, as well as a top-down approach, such picture book reading and storytelling we are keen to present to you alphaTUB, a developmentally appropriate ICT practices which we have already tested with proven results in Japan though at a much smaller scale.

We are keen to explore if you would be open to consider evaluating those practices also as a part of your on-going research? We would be happy to make a formal presentation and explore collaboration.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Navneet

    • Dear Navneet,

      Thank you for your comment.
I read about alpha TUB on your website.
I thought it was a great way to personalize children’s learning and make learning phonics fun.
I have received an email from your company in Japan and would be happy to discuss this with you. I look forward to discussing literacy education with you.

      Sincerely yours,
      Emiko
