Shinichi Tokuno

    Since 2014 Shinichi Tokuno has been a Project Associate Professor with the Voice Analysis of Pathophysiology program, Medical School of the University of Tokyo

    Shinichi Tokuno graduated from the National Defense Medical College, Saitama, Japan, in 1985, received the Diploma in the Medical Care of Catastrophes from the Society of Apothecaries, London, UK, in 2001, and received the Ph.D. degree from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2001.

    From 1991 to 1998, he worked at the Central Hospital of Japan Self-Defense Forces, Tokyo, Japan, doing research on medical engineering and artificial organs. From 1998 to 2000, he was a Researcher at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.

    From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a military doctor mainly in the area of education and the research area of computer simulation.

    From 2005 to 2012, he was an Associate Professor with Defense Medicine of the National Defense Medical College, Saitama, Japan. From 2012 to 2014, he was a Chief Instructor with the Medical Service School of Ground Self-Defense Force, Tokyo, Japan.
