In her current role as Director, Product Design, Melissa leads research into the drivers of taste preference for dogs and cats
Her team is also responsible for understanding pet parent perception of and opinions on pet food attributes. Using data and insights generated by this research, she then directs her team in developing taste solutions that can be applied across the entire portfolio of Hill’s pet foods to ensure Hill’s clinically-proven efficacy is delivered with taste that pets love.
Melissa has a MS in Food Science from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining Hill’s, Melissa worked as a product developer in the human food industry designing foods and beverages for retail and food service sales.
